BASSET HOUND IN LEGO

I am indebted to Sue Sampson for providing this shot of a convincing, life-size, Basset Hound made entirely of Lego bricks; which was taken while she and Terry were holidaying in Florida. Pretty good, isn’t it?

Please keep your eyes peeled for any Basset Hound related images that you come across during your travels and email photographs of them to Lowdown. It is quite surprising how often our favourite breed is used by advertisers. I guess this is because the hound is so photogenic.

I remember some years ago- I think it was in Rouen, in Normandy - seeing various city walks marked by bronze silhouettes of a Basset Hound which were inlaid into the pavement. Obviously I photographed them, but a quick search through my digital files has not yet discovered these.

Also, please submit any hound photos suitable for a future Lowdown front cover.
